Scattano dal prossimo 12 gennaio le targhe alterne a Pescara, i commercianti dicono no ma l’Amministrazione comunale non farà dietrofront.

Scattano dal prossimo 12 gennaio le targhe alterne, a Pescara, che proseguiranno fino a marzo, il martedì e il giovedì. Un provvedimento per far fronte all’inquinamento atmosferico che non sarà revocato perché, spiegano dal Comune, si intende dare una inversione di rotta alla viabilità e alla mobilità cittadina, scoraggiando, per quanto possibile, i cittadini a prendere l’auto o a entrare in città con la propria automobile. I commercianti aderenti a Confcommercio e Confesercenti dicono no al provvedimento, reputandolo inutile e dannoso. Confcommercio ha espresso la sua contrarietà alla iniziativa anche alla luce dell’abbassamento delle micropolveri nell’aria che prima di Natale avevano fatto registrare il superamento dei limiti in vari punti della città. Sulla stessa linea la Confesercenti per la quale la scelta di un singolo Comune non risolve la situazione e rischia solo di spostare il problema da Pescara ai centri commerciali.

E’ bene sottolineare che il provvedimento delle targhe alterne, riguarderà non solo le auto, ma anche moto e ciclomotori. Partenza delle targhe alterne dal 12 gennaio fino a marzo, il martedì potranno circolare le targhe pari, il giovedì le dispari. L’area interessata sarà tutta la città. Gli orari in cui non si potrà circolare: dalla 9 alle 12.30 e dalle 15.30 alle 18.30 Per i trasgressori prevista una multa di 164 euro, ridotta a 114.80 se si paga entro 5 giorni dalla notifica. Sono interessati ai divieti tutti i veicoli a motore, compresi moto e ciclomotori. Inoltre, un’ordinanza del sindaco Alessandrini prevede l’abbassamento di un grado del riscaldamento delle private abitazioni. E a primavera si studierà la pedonalizzazione della riviera che potrebbe essere effettuata già nella prossima estate.
